| 内容記述 | 目的：スピリチュアルケアにおける有益な絵本活用に向けて，スピリチュアルケアの理論と読書療法の類似性に着目し選定した絵本を一提案として示す． 方法：入手可能な国内外の死をテーマとした対象絵本 69 作品を精読した後，ケア対象者である読者が【同一視】できる登場人物と共に，【感情の浄化】【洞察】という読書療法における各プロセスを疑似体験できると判断した表現を抽出し，それらすべてを包含した絵本を選定する． 結果：ケア対象者が【同一視】する登場人物と【感情の浄化】【洞察】という読書療法のプロセスを辿りうると考えられる絵本を 15 作品選定することができた． 結論：物語を通じて，ケア対象者が【同一視】できる登場人物と共に，疑似的に苦悩や悲しみの感情を表出【感情の浄化】し，死に対する受容や自己変容【洞察】へと促す絵本は，危機的状況を克服し新たな人生の意味を見出し，アイデンティティを確保するための一助になり得ることから，スピリチュアルケアにおける絵本選定の一提案を示していると考える． |

| 内容記述 | Objective: This paper aims to propose the effective selection of picture books for spiritual care, with a focus on the similarities between the theories of spiritual care and bibliotherapy. Methods: After carefully reading 69 available picture books on the theme of death in Japan and abroad, we selected those that included all of the following characteristics: characters with whom the readers, the subjects of care, could “identify”and expressions through which they could vicariously experience each process of bibliotherapy: “purification of feelings (catharsis)” and “insight.” Results: We were able to select 15 picture books that the subjects of care could trace through the bibliotherapy process of “purification of feelings (catharsis)” and “insight” with characters with whom they could “identify”. Conclusion: Picture books that encourage care recipients (the subjects of care) to express feelings of suffering and sorrow with characters with whom they can identify through stories, to purify their feelings “purification of feelings (catharsis),” to gain acceptance and understanding of death and to discover a new self through self-transformation (“insight”) may help them find a new meaning of life from a crisis in spiritual care. Therefore, it is thought that the picture books focusing on the similarities between the theories of spiritual care and bibliotherapy selected in this study can be proposed as effective selections for spiritual care. |
