| 内容記述 | 目的：スピリチュアルケアにおける絵本活用を有効にするために，絵本選択は重要課題の一つである．そこで，読書療法とスピリチュアルケアに関する研究論文の検討から，両者の類似性を見いだすことにより，セラピーとしての有益な絵本選択のヒントを導き出すことを目的とする． 方法：日本及び欧米の読書療法に関する研究論文からその概念や有用性について焦点を置き，スピリチュアルケアとの類似性を見出す． 結果：多くの研究者は，1）同一化，2）浄化作用（カタルシス），3）洞察という読者が辿るとするC.Shrodes による読書療法の3 段階の理論，あるいは，同様の読書療法の有用性について言及している．加えて，ケア対象者が辿る経過に着目した，読書療法とスピリチュアルケアの間に類似性が見られた． 結論：スピリチュアルケアと読書療法の類似性から，読書療法の3 段階に基づいた物語性を包含した絵本活用は，より有益なスピリチュアルケアを可能にすると言える． |

| 内容記述 | Objective: The aim of this paper was to elucidate the relationships between spiritual care and bibliotherapy in order to search for the appropriate choice of picture books, which should be selected more carefully for those who have sensitive or delicate issues in spiritual care. Methods: From the selected literature on bibliotherapy in Japan, Europe, and the USA, the efficacy and concept of bibliotherapy were examined. In addition, based on the general concept of spiritual care defined by some researchers, the similarities between spiritual care and bibliotherapy were considered. Results: Generally, researchers suggested the efficacy of bibliotherapy based on the bibliotherapy process consisting of three phases, (1) identification, 2) catharsis, and 3) insight), which were shown by Shrodes, a pioneer in the development of bibliotherapy, and some of them also referred to the effectiveness of bibliotherapy based on a concept similar to Shrodes’ theory. As a result, the three stages of the bibliotherapy process may correspond closely to the phases of spiritual care, which serves as supportive care for those who have sensitive problems. Conclusion: The similarities between spiritual care and bibliotherapy suggest that using picture books in which a storyline is developed based on the three stages of bibliotherapy is more significant in spiritual care. It is hoped that the result can assist in the appropriate choice of picture books for those who need spiritual care. |
