| 内容記述 | 目的:精神障害者にとっての長期入院経験の意味づけを明らかにし,当事者とっての「スティグマ」とその「スティグマ」付与の過程を検討する.方法:長期入院経験を持つ当事者にインタビュー調査を行い,質的帰納的に分析した.結果:対象者は7名.年齢は40代前半から60代後半,最長入院期間は2年から22年であった.地域生活期間は4年から17年であった.精神科病院への入院経験について,『入院したことで10年以上の時間を無駄にしたと思っています.余計におかしな病気になったって思っています.』等と語られた.結論:当事者にとっての入院経験は,長期入院生活を送る上で自己の安定性・肯定性を確保するために必要な【精神科の患者】へと自己アイデンティティを再編成した経験と意味づけされていた.「スティグマ」は自分自身を【精神科の患者】と存在規定したことであり,精神科病院での入院生活が「スティグマ」付与の過程であると示唆された. | |||||

| 内容記述 | Objective : To clarify how meanings are created for patients having a prolonged stay in a psychiatric hospital and to consider the "stigmata" for such patients and the processes to provide "stigmata" in there. Methods : Interview survey of subjects with a prolonged in-hospital stay and recursive analysis of quality. Results : The 7 subjects ranged in age from the early 40s to the late 60s, with a maximum hospitalization of from 2 to 22 years. They experienced community life from 4 to 17 years. With respect to the hospitalization experience in the psychiatric hospital, one of them said "It was a waste of time for more than a decade for me staying at the hospital. I think I got strange sick unnecessarily". Conclusion : The hospitalization experience for the patients is to shake things up their identities as "mentally ill people". It is needed to ensure stability and agreement for a long hospital stay. The "stigmata" is to prescribe their beingness as "mentally ill people". There has a suggestion that to stay in the psychiatric unit is the process to provide them the "stigmata". | |||||
