Methods : A questionnaire was sent to 627 head nurses selected randomly from national hospitals. Nurses were asked to return the questionnaire via postal mail. A total of 311 nurses who responded to the descriptive questionnaire and indicated that they faced problems when providing individualized instructions were included in the study ; their responses were analyzed using the content analysis method adopted in nursing education.
